Does the Library have audiobooks?

Answer

The McGraw-Page Library does not have audiobooks, although almost all of our ebooks can be read by screen reader technology.

Instead, the Library relies on local public libraries, most of which provide access to both audiobooks and popular ebooks through Overdrive and the Libby app. Many public libraries provide access to Libby, which can be installed on a wide variety of devices. You can listen to audiobooks through the Libby app and read ebooks accessed through Libby on the Libby app, on your Kindle, or on another preferred tool.

You just need a library card at your local public library to be able to use Libby remotely--from anywhere in the country! If you live on-campus, you can apply for a Pamunkey Regional student library card. It's easy to do (be sure to read the hints in this pic) and you will receive your card by mail in about 7 days. If you are a local commuter, faculty member, or staff member, you may also be eligible for a card.
