Is it possible to access R-MC electronic resources directly from the Google Scholar search results page?

Answer

You can set up Google Scholar so that it links to resources provided by the McGraw-Page Library:

  1. Go to https://scholar.google.com and click the three bars in the top left corner of the screen
  2. Select Settings, then Library links
  3. Search for RMC and search and the option for Randolph-Macon College – Find it @ RMC will appear
  4. Check the box to the left of that option and Save.

When you search in Google Scholar, resources held by R-MC will display the Find it @ RMC link either to the right of the results or underneath. Click the chevron to expand options under the resource if you don't see the Find it @ RMC link (see image below). Click the Find it @ RMC link and follow the steps to access the full-text of a resource or place an interlibrary loan request.
