We have to assign a different instructor to teach a class after the semester has already started. How can the new instructor get immediate access to the Canvas course?

Answer

All course enrollments, including the instructor and students, are automatically updated from MyMaconWeb every day in the early morning.

The Department Chair or the Provost Office should email the Registrar's Office and Cc: ITS Helpline as soon as possible about changing instructor. This is to ensure the new instructor will be able to get in the course in a timely way.

Students should refer to this information.
