A student switched course sections. All her assignment submissions and grades were lost during the transition. Is there a way to recover her work and grades?

Assuming the Section's Canvas course-site she was in ("old Canvas course") still exists on canvas.rmc.edu, the student data can be mostly retrieved.
You must have Teacher access to her old Canvas course, or work with the Instructor of that course site. Here are the steps:
- In the old Canvas course, add the student back to the roster ("People"), and immediately make the student inactive (by selecting the 3-dot menu).
- Click on the student’s name, then select the “Grades” button. Right click to Print (Save as PDF) the Grades page.
- Download the student’s submissions as needed; refer to the guide how to save student data from a Canvas course.
- Remove the student from “People” in her old course.
Manually enter the data in the new Canvas course as needed.
