How do I get a job at the Library?

Answer

Student employees are absolutely vital to the success of the Library! We are selective about who we hire because we rely heavily on student employees to help us meet the needs of our students, faculty, and staff, and the students who work for us have to be dependable, curious, and detail-oriented.

The Library reviews job applications from students prior to each term (Fall, J-Term, Spring, Summer). We hire into a number of different roles, which work in different areas of the library and have different responsibilities: Information Desk, Makerspace, Special Collections, Interlibrary Loan, and Collection Services.

You can learn more about the different roles and complete the application at this link: https://library.rmc.edu/studentemployment

If you are in an MLS program and would like to complete an internship as part of your degree requirements, please contact the library director at NancyFalcianiWhite [at] rmc.edu. Unfortunately we are not able to accept volunteers help at the McGraw-Page Library at this time .
