Should I select TA or Tutor when I add a HAC Tutor or YJSS Captain to my Canvas course?

TA can edit the course content. If the student to be added will help the course instructor edit/add/delete modules, files, assignments, discussion topics or quizzes, then add the student as TA.
Tutor can view all course content posted by the instructor or TA, including course documents, assignments and quizzes. The tutor can also view the class roster and discussion posts by students.
Our Canvas system does not give TA or Tutor grading access (include student grades).
We recommend the role "Teacher" be limited to faculty and staff with teaching responsibilities, that is, users with @rmc.edu in their email; students (with @go.rmc.edu in their emails) be only added as TAs or Tutors in Canvas.
