What is LinkedIn Learning? How can I access it?
Answer
LinkedIn Learning (LiL) provides hundreds of courses to help users develop technology, communication, and other in-demand skills. RMC has a site license of LiL; students, faculty and staff can access the professional development materials included in LiL 24/7 over the internet.
LiL is owned by LinkedIn, but a free Linkedin.com account does not include LinkedIn Learning. You can now connect the RMC-sponsored LinkedIn Learning with your personal LinkedIn profile.
To access LiL, sign into Gormc.sharepoint.com using your RMC username and password. Then
- From the waffle menu on the top left corner, select the icon LinkedIn Learning SSO, and get started.
- You may skip connecting with LinkedIn Profile for now.
- Search for a topic or subject; begin learning.
Connect your LinkedIn profile with LinkedIn Learning (LiL) so that you can access LiL from your personal LinkedIn account.
Here is how to connect the two:
- Be sure you are signed into Gormc.sharepoint.com to access LinkedIn Learning.
- Select “Me” on the top right and choose to connect with your LinkedIn profile. You may need to select “Settings” to see the option for connecting.
- When they connected, you can - from your personal LinkedIn account - access LiL from the “Learning” icon on the top right corner.
